    You know? Sprinter Legs

    Hello,
little something about sprinter legs and maybe other stuff. I think most of you guys know, but hey, why not...

You can't place edges between the normal legs, to protect the rods and on carbon legs you can.

You can do 4 jumps with the legs.
    1. normal big jump and stand still a little while, by pressing space (jump button).
    2. little/slow jump and you can still move after landing, by pressing space a very short time.
    3. high/slow jump and you can still move after landing. I don't have the timing completely.
    4. crouch and than jump, higher jump

Without camera control you can change the direction of your legs on your bot, simply by changing the control settings.

    changed:
    move forward: S
    move backwards: W
    move right: A
    move left: D
You have different jumps on these settings, backwards you have a slower and higher jump, witout standing still on every type of jump!

    little jump forward: https://imgur.com/6ANLGGV

    little jump backwards: https://imgur.com/bDwUPMB
It's hard to show this in a screenshot, but by own testing you can see the difference.

I'm pretty sure the differences between the C6 and regular sprinter legs aren't intentional, so please don't abuse that.

The rest is pretty useful - I actually learned there were more than two jumps possible.

I think there should be a post in suggestion and feedback talking about all current hitbox mistake. even some of the electroplates have weird hitbox that's not possible, even if it actually fit with it's actual look.

I think you're deviating from the subject

I still think Sprinter Legs do a good job.

Developers may have not noticed that spiders won't drop from cliffs like bot sdo now with spider legs. If they're called as "SPIDER" legs they might also work like original legs. It won't take a big bumb in a rock when spider leg bots flies.

This thread is about spinter-, not spiderlegs...

You can put a hover on the sprinter bot to completely dismiss the pause you get after a long jump. I'm not sure exactly what does it but i think it's the angle you land the legs. Normal landing and the bot pauses straight after a long jump. But at a 45 degree angle or something the bot won't pause and you can instantly jump or run again without any pause.

Personally i think they should just remove the pause after jumping and reduce health a tiny amount.

Also Jumping backwards dismisses the pause and so you can land normally without the bot pausing.

I don't think it's the angle, it's just how i was landing because of the angle.

The hover makes your bot touch the ground twice i think. When you land after a big jump the hover makes you land at an angle so your bot comes back off the ground a tiny bit. The second time it touches the ground it doesn't have to pause. So you can keep doing long jump after long jump without pausing at all. You can go pretty fast around the map. Also i think jumping backwards doesn't stop your bot either when it lands. thrusters and a rudder will make you go pretty fast backwards.

The hover was actually intended (in combination with thrusters) to help flip my bot after falling over so i didn't have to use rectify. It also allows me to do backflips off high places.
